By creating an account or using Hacklingo (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be at least 13 years old to use Hacklingo. By signing up, you confirm you meet this requirement.
Hacklingo is a gamified cybersecurity education platform. Our lessons, exercises, and labs teach offensive and defensive security concepts for educational purposes only. Nothing on Hacklingo authorizes you to apply techniques learned here against systems, networks, or individuals without explicit permission from the system owner.

Hacklingo teaches real cybersecurity skills. You are solely responsible for how you apply what you learn. All techniques are taught for the purpose of understanding, defense, and authorized penetration testing. Using these skills against systems you do not own or have explicit permission to test is illegal in most jurisdictions and expressly prohibited by these Terms.
By using this Service, you agree that Hacklingo is not liable for any illegal or unauthorized use of techniques learned through the platform.
The Root Access subscription is billed monthly at $2.99 USD (or the equivalent in your local currency as displayed at checkout). All payments are processed by Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings, effective at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods, but we will cancel future charges immediately upon request.
In-app purchases of virtual currency (Hashes) and consumables are non-refundable once consumed. Virtual currency and items have no real-world monetary value and cannot be transferred, traded, or redeemed for cash.
All lesson content, design, code, and creative assets on Hacklingo are owned by us or our licensors. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or commercialize Hacklingo's lesson content without written permission.
Content you post in squad chat or other social features remains yours. By posting it, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display it within the Service. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our sole discretion, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time from your Operator profile screen. On deletion, your data is removed per our Privacy Policy.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. Use of the Service is at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hacklingo and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data, loss of profits, or any harm resulting from unauthorized access to your account. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice in the app or sending an email to your registered address. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction in the United States.
